The President and the Management Committee (“JPM”) would like to express many thanks for the attendance, support, and feedback received on the agenda and matters discussed at the Annual General Meeting on 30 June 2018. A robust discussion well intentioned for the betterment of MCOBA and MCOBs should flourish among MCOBs. On the mandate, in particular, on Batang Berjuntai Land, the JPM will commence negotiation with Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd (“KSSB”) for mutual benefit.
Thank you all members and families, and the present boys with the PK Kokurikulum and rugby coaches who attended our MCOBA Raya 1439H. Despite the KL gridlock, a decent number of MCOBs were able to make it and keep ourselves entertained. The JPM of both sides, outgoing, and incoming, express their gratitude to Tan Sri Megat Najmuddin bin Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Megat Khas (Life President), Y.M. Tunku Dato’ Ahmad Burhanuddin Tunku Dato’ Seri Adnan (President), Dato’ Abdul Rauf bin Rashid (Honorary Treasurer), Bro Ali Karim C’72 (2) and Bro Fares Zahir (Kingtho C’84) for sponsoring lamb for MCOBA Raya 1439H. Also gratitude to the volunteers, Shaayum, Oppa (C’13) and Nami.
The JPM would also like to convey much appreciation to the outgoing JPM members for services rendered to MCOBA and hope they will continue to work with MCOBA at the various sub- committees. The JPM is the place where things are managed and decided but the sub-committees continue to promote activities and camaraderie among and MCOBs and for causes we support. The outgoing JPM members are Sdr. Wan Kamaruddin Wan Mohd Ali (C’72), Sdr Ahmad Zaki Abdullah (C’89), Sdr Ahmad Jeoffrey Aladib (C’86), Sdr Hakim Hamzah (C’90), Sdr Razali Husain (C’77), Sdr Harun Baba (C’68) and Sdr Ahmad Salim Abd Razi (C’75).
